You may love your children deeply and still wonder why motherhood feels so hard. You might cry without knowing why, feel constantly on edge, or become angry over things that never bothered you before. You may feel alone beside a partner who cannot understand what you are going through, then feel guilty for the resentment building between you. Perhaps you miss who you were before motherhood and feel ashamed admitting that this experience is different from what you imagined. You are exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure how much longer you can keep holding everything together.

When motherhood feels harder than you expected
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, or a major life transition, our work will start with where you are right now. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work toward practical ways to respond differently.
My approach is client-centered, which means you are the expert on your own life. I won't tell you that you're wrong or that there is one right way to handle a situation. Instead, I’ll offer perspective, ask thoughtful questions, and help you discover approaches that feel authentic to you and may create more positive outcomes. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed care.
Over time, therapy can help you better understand yourself and your emotions, communicate your needs more clearly, navigate conflict with greater intention, and develop healthier ways of coping. It can also be an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, your partner, and the parts of life that bring you joy.
More than just my work
As a mom and military spouse, I understand that some transitions are deeply personal while others are completely unexpected. My own experiences with pregnancy and postpartum struggles helped me recognize how important it is for mothers to have a place where they can be honest about what they're experiencing without feeling like they have to have it all together. As a biracial woman, I also understand that questions of identity, belonging, and feeling accepted can shape how we experience ourselves and our relationships. These experiences inform the way I show up with clients—with warmth, curiosity, and genuine understanding.
I believe therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. I love laughing, being outdoors, listening to people's stories, and helping them make sense of the things that feel tangled or overwhelming. I’ll meet you where you are and work alongside you from there. If you're ready to understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your relationships, or find a new sense of direction, I'd be honored to walk alongside you
